Adrienne Warren is currently studying musical theatre in New York City. At the age of eight she began studying musical theatre and acting under the tutelage of Hugh Copeland and the Hurrah Players. With Hugh’s encouragement, she auditions for the Hurrah Players’ production of ANNIE and was cast in the lead role in November 1997. She was featured in October 1997 issue of JET as the first African American Annie. Adrienne’s latest stage credits include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Aida with the Musical Theatre Department at the Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA), and Cats with Virginia Musical Theatre. So far she has performed in over 50 productions throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Television/movies credits include: Miss Virginia Pageant 01/02/04, Quit Before you Start (DVD), Hampton Roads Young Achieve, and Diagnosis Unknown 2. Summer 05 Adrienne was one of a select group of talented apprentices for the 2005 session of Broadway Theatre Project, held in Florida. There, she studied with some of the most accomplished performers such as Ben Vereen, Mandy Patinkin, and Frank Wildhorn. |
