Steve Margoshes

 

Steve Margoshes is best known as the composer of the hit musical Fame, which has been translated into 11 Steve Margosheslanguages and has been seen by more than 4 million people so far.

Other works include:

  • A Glass of Paint

Margoshes also works as orchestrator for shows such as Good Vibrations, Aida, The Who's Tommy, Big River, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Dance of the Vampires, the revival of Grease and Taboo.

Additionally he worked on the orchestrations of CD recordings such as Fame, Jesus Christ Superstar (symphonic suite), The Fix, Ladies in Waiting, Theda Bara, A Christmas Carol, Jacques Brel, Shogun, A Bundle of Nerves.

Steve Margoshes is also a long time contributer of orchestrations to Jim Steinman, working on projects such as Garbo, Bat out of Hell, Bad for Good, Sisters of Mercy - This Corrosion, Streets of Fire and A Small Circle of Friends.
